United Community Missions (UCM) is a not-for-profit Christian organization committed to meeting the spiritual, social, and economic needs of local, national, and international communities. United Community MIssions

Our Purpose

We are COMPELLED by the gospel to present Jesus Christ in word and deed.
We are CALLED to serve our local and global neighbors with compassion and integrity.
We are CONVICTED to rebuild, restore, and empower families, churches, schools, and businesses.

UCM is founded on biblical truth and a belief in the Holy Trinity—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Our mission is fueled by the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20), and we are committed to making disciples, strengthening communities, and expanding the Kingdom of God through acts of service and love.

What We Believe

We believe:

  • God is the Creator, Ruler, and Lord over all.

  • Mankind, due to sin, is separated from God.

  • Jesus Christ is God in the flesh and the sacrificial Lamb who restores our access to God.

  • In the life, death, resurrection, and return of Jesus Christ.

  • The Holy Spirit dwells within believers, guiding and convicting.

  • Our faith compels us to act, serve, and share these truths with the world.

Everything we do—every service, every program, every partnership—is built on these foundational beliefs.

Photos capturing the essence of a vital water well and a clearly marked sign of a Health Clinic in Bussie, both representing the jurisdiction of Pastor Efrem J. Byrd, tell a powerful story. Pastor Efrem, affectionately known as Pastor E, was installed as the Chief of Bussie in January of 2020. His wide-ranging responsibilities encompass not only spiritual leadership but also the critical roles of overseer and administrator for his devoted people. He effectively manages a church building, a health clinic dedicated to serving the community, two schools that provide education, and the land that supports their growth and sustenance.

Pastor Efrem J. Byrd and the United Community Missions team are organizing upcoming events to create a welcoming and safe environment for our community. They aim to ensure that every event encourages connection, understanding, and support for all.
